alk about ruining a thread with an off topic post.
Thanks a Hell of a lot Nauplius.
But if you must interrupt this otherwise useful thread and ask what the Little Sisters taught me, here you go:
"Love is a gift of God, nourished by and expressed in the encounter of each other. Love is thus a positive force directed towards their growth in maturity as persons. In the plan of life which represents each person's vocation, love is also a precious source for the self-giving. Human love hence embraces the body, and the body also expresses spiritual love. Therefore, sexuality is not something purely biological, rather it concerns the intimate nucleus of the person. The use of sexuality as physical giving has its own truth and reaches its full meaning when it expresses the personal giving of each other even unto death."
Text from the Sisters
"In the beginning all things were as one.
God parted them and breathed life into his creation
Divided the parts and gave each its place
And unto each, bestowed purpose"
- The Scriptures, Book I 1:4
God encourages this love, provides glue for marriage's ups and downs, and encourages reproduction, aka children, by making sex a pleasurable act.
Otherwise there'd be no children. no more Chosen to surround yourself with, and to bring forth the light of faith.
"Surround yourself with the faithful, Stand together, for there is no strength like it under the heavens."
- The Scriptures, Book of Missions 71:21
"So the Lord sent forth the Chosen,
to bring forth the light of faith"
- The Scriptures, Book of Reclaiming 4:45
Now.. can we let people introduce themselves without trolling?
