Cerra Cathedral
Deep in contested space, on a planet liberated from the Matari hordes, a shining beacon to Amarrian faith stands majestically, providing hope to the many loyal pilots of Cerra Manor. Built of white marble, white granite pillars and gold trim finish, the Cathedral was lovingly constructed in a more dangerous time, under the watchful eyes of former Matari oppressors.Set in a clearing a short walk from the Manor House, the Cathedral towers over the nearby trees and is surrounded by statues of Amarrian religious figures, carefully crafted beds of flowers, and small circular water fountains. At the entrance is a large three tiered water fountain, with water jetting up from the mouths of lions in the centre.Inside the Cathedral, a white marble floor decorated with golden pyerite tiles leads from the entrance foyer to the large wooden pews - crafted from wood specially selected from near the house. Despite the natural feel of the pews, the rest of the Cathedral is lavish, rich in valuable art and golden altar, rood, beams and statues.Image here
[ 2015.05.24 00:43:06 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says lightly as she walks "I appreciate your interest in SFRIM. What prompted this?"
[ 2015.05.24 00:44:28 ] Constance Bonacieux > "There are very few capsuler organisations that are composed of the faithful"
[ 2015.05.24 00:44:41 ] Constance Bonacieux > "umm..."
[ 2015.05.24 00:45:02 ] Constance Bonacieux > "it would be good to be part of one"
[ 2015.05.24 00:45:03 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "That is true." She pauses to look at a flower bed.
[ 2015.05.24 00:46:06 ] Constance Bonacieux > "I am tired of being surrounded by heathens"
[ 2015.05.24 00:46:08 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "It can be very rewarding to have that support."
[ 2015.05.24 00:47:10 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods. "capsuleers do seem to get more and more abberent." She kneels down to study a flower.
[ 2015.05.24 00:47:39 ] Constance Bonacieux > "well yes and you're organisation works toward the victory of the Faith"
[ 2015.05.24 00:48:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "We do try in our way" She stands back up. She smooths her dress and dusts some dirt off her knees.
[ 2015.05.24 00:48:14 ] Constance Bonacieux > "I'd like to be part of that"
[ 2015.05.24 00:48:36 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote resumes walking to the cathedral. "We would be pleased to have you."
[ 2015.05.24 00:49:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Director Mithra always has me ask some questions of course. and I have one on mu mind I am adding to the interview today."
[ 2015.05.24 00:49:25 ] Constance Bonacieux > *gazes at Cathedral* very impressive, in the middle of the warzone!
[ 2015.05.24 00:49:47 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Yes, Lady Lianna and Tigerfish wanted it to be a beacon of faith"
[ 2015.05.24 00:50:40 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "tell me did you know Dr. Sarain?"
[ 2015.05.24 00:51:39 ] Constance Bonacieux > " I know of him, but never met" *looks slightly puzzled"
[ 2015.05.24 00:52:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "He was the organizer of the peace summit that is ongoing right now."
[ 2015.05.24 00:53:22 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says softly as she enters the cathedral taking some steps downwards into the spaces underneath and not into the nave "He was assasinated"
[ 2015.05.24 00:54:14 ] Constance Bonacieux > "oh, the Matari i suppose?"
[ 2015.05.24 00:54:27 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I don't know. I don't think anyone knows."
[ 2015.05.24 00:54:58 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "So my first question to you, is - is his dream of peace a foolish hope or one that can be accomplished?
[ 2015.05.24 00:55:16 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote stops walking as she gets to the crypt where he is buried and simply looks at it quietly.
[ 2015.05.24 00:56:25 ] Constance Bonacieux > "Well peace can be accomplished i think, It's the whole point of the Reclaiming!"
[ 2015.05.24 00:58:04 ] Constance Bonacieux > "oh he's buried here..." Was he from Huola?"
[ 2015.05.24 00:58:17 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote leans back against the wall "Yes. But for how long?" She pauses "more to the point, is his dream of a cluster where we can preach our faith freely a mirage or will we always need to backit up with more.. robust measures"
[ 2015.05.24 01:01:02 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "He was a capsuleer."
[ 2015.05.24 01:01:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "His,., friends in the faithful community took arrangements in hand."
[ 2015.05.24 01:01:30 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says lightly "now, my question?"
[ 2015.05.24 01:01:34 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles gently.
[ 2015.05.24 01:02:35 ] Constance Bonacieux > "well...I think that bringing people to the Faith peacefully is the best way, after all you don't want to go around killing people for no reason" But where we are obstructed from from our peceful mission, well we need to be able to remove the obstructio
[ 2015.05.24 01:03:41 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly.
[ 2015.05.24 01:03:58 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I think peace at all costs is somethingto be avoid" she says softly "Still.. we need dreamers"
[ 2015.05.24 01:04:33 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote looks quietly at the crpy and walks over, putting her hand on it "good bye friend".
[ 2015.05.24 01:05:04 ] Constance Bonacieux > *bows respectfully at grave*
[ 2015.05.24 01:05:13 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote turns to go to the main part of the cathedral and makes her way back up the steps.
[ 2015.05.24 01:05:49 ] Constance Bonacieux > *worriedly follows after*
[ 2015.05.24 01:06:16 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote takes a seat in the back and gestures for Constance to sit with her. She looks at the art and the latar.
[ 2015.05.24 01:06:35 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Sorry I am in a thoughtful mood. Probably good for these sorts of questions." She chuckles softly.
[ 2015.05.24 01:06:47 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Director Mithra always has me ask people this very subjective question...
[ 2015.05.24 01:06:54 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "What is the essence of the Amarr faith to you?"
[ 2015.05.24 01:06:55 ] Constance Bonacieux > *sits next to her*
[ 2015.05.24 01:08:12 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote's gaze focuses on Constance and she tries to give an encouraging smile.
[ 2015.05.24 01:08:40 ] Constance Bonacieux > "to help everyone approach Godhood...um...i mean we can never reach it but we should head toward it"
[ 2015.05.24 01:09:11 ] Constance Bonacieux > *bites lip* i think thats it...
[ 2015.05.24 01:09:26 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly.
[ 2015.05.24 01:10:21 ] Constance Bonacieux > "is there a right answer?"
[ 2015.05.24 01:10:46 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says lightly "I am just a commoner,I leave that to the Theologians"
[ 2015.05.24 01:10:49 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote giggles softly.
[ 2015.05.24 01:11:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gets a slight smile on the edge of her lips "our next question, Is it more important to be born of Amarr blood or to live a righteous life in fear of god?
[ 2015.05.24 01:12:19 ] Constance Bonacieux > "A rigjhteous life! unfortunately there are evil people in every race"
[ 2015.05.24 01:12:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Yes, that is certainly so.
[ 2015.05.24 01:13:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > You were raised in the Gallente federation? Were your parents of the faith?
[ 2015.05.24 01:14:19 ] Constance Bonacieux > "My birth parents were, I was adopted at a young age by Gallente converts"
[ 2015.05.24 01:14:43 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods "and they were righteous I assume?"
[ 2015.05.24 01:15:51 ] Constance Bonacieux > "They were good people..." *sighs and seems faraway*
[ 2015.05.24 01:16:36 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Being raised there, when did you first, if ever, have any exposure to slavery as part of the Reclaimation??"
[ 2015.05.24 01:18:40 ] Constance Bonacieux > "They passed on stories about my ancestors, the Ni-Kunni who were once slaves but by the grace of God and their own efforts became free"
[ 2015.05.24 01:19:51 ] Constance Bonacieux > "The first slaves I actually saw were3 at the Imperial Academy tho"
[ 2015.05.24 01:20:25 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I see."
[ 2015.05.24 01:21:08 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "based on that, what do you feel the purpose of slavery is today"
[ 2015.05.24 01:23:25 ] Constance Bonacieux > "Well it's a learning experience for them, umm...so they can be exposed to the Faith and hopefully approach nearer to God" *nods emphatically*
[ 2015.05.24 01:24:14 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "And how is that to be enforced, Some are of course quite cooperative, others.. aren't"
[ 2015.05.24 01:26:12 ] Constance Bonacieux > "Rewards and punishments proportionate to their progress and actions would seem best":
[ 2015.05.24 01:26:40 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods. "Well that's everything. Let's walk back."
[ 2015.05.24 01:27:29 ] Constance Bonacieux > *hops up* yes sure
[ 2015.05.24 01:27:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles lightly "I'll be sending you an invitation to join us if you still want to"
[ 2015.05.24 01:28:23 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > She gets up from her seat and makes her way over where some candles are and lights several murmuring the names of her children and grand children and some others that can't be heard. She leaves an isk credit.
[ 2015.05.24 01:28:35 ] Constance Bonacieux > *smiles* oh that would be great! merci beaucoup!
[ 2015.05.24 01:28:46 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles at Constance. "Good."
[ 2015.05.24 01:29:56 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gestures for Constance, and returns to the Terrace.
[ 2015.05.24 01:30:46 ] Constance Bonacieux > *follows happily*
