[ 2015.08.08 00:27:09 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Ave Mr. Nahrid. I received your application. Do you have time to visit me in Mehatoor? I can send you the coordinates.
[ 2015.08.08 00:27:39 ] Ahman Nahrid > Greetings Ms. Aspenstar. I can indeed. Please transmit the coordinates.
[ 2015.08.08 00:28:10 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I just finished an op. So I am quite far from our corp offices at present. Transmitting now and I look forward to seeing you when you can arrive.

Cafe Marlinea - Mehatoor - 24th IC Station

The Cafe is on the main boulevard of the capsuleer community district in the 24th Imperial Crusade station in the Mehatoor system. The front of the cafe is furnished in a toned down Gallentean fashion. The small pavement stones have been implanted in front of the cafe with holodisplays to give the appearance of an outside countryside cafe. The scents from the cafe linger on the outside, fresh coffee mixed with Gallentean and Amarrian pastries. The establishment mixes the finer points of Gallente and Amarr culture immaculately together. There are four tables in front of the cafe, set with dayshades and two chairs each.Inside of the cafe is a similar mix of gallente and amarr culture and architecture. The inside houses a one corner set with two leather couches and a table between them. the sales counter is in the middle of the cafe. One can peek over the counter through the small window to the kitchen and see the bakers busy at work. There are five tables set with four seats each in the main area and on the sides two smaller seated tables.A constant flow of customers creates a lively atmosphere. The music on the background is mainly Gallente swing style music.

[ 2015.08.08 00:30:20 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote is seated inside, at a table set for two. There is already a cafe of fine spiced Kor-Azor wine and a plate of gallente pastries, oddly enough.
[ 2015.08.08 00:32:02 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote walks in with the steady confidence of a soldier, his gaze steadily scanning the area before proceeding in towards Lunarisse.
[ 2015.08.08 00:33:14 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote pauses at her table, placing his right hand on his chest and giving her a formal and cordial - albeit perhaps slightly too rigid - bow.
[ 2015.08.08 00:33:33 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles brightly, rising to meet Ahman. "Hello, thank you for traveling this way. I hope this was not too much of an inconvenience."
[ 2015.08.08 00:34:47 ] Ahman Nahrid > "Not at all. Thank you for receiving me, and at such short notice."
[ 2015.08.08 00:35:06 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Do you have a seat." She pauses "How do you prefer to be addressed?"
[ 2015.08.08 00:37:11 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote nods politely and takes his seat at the table. "Between us Immortals, I am yet not fully knowledgeable of the full protocol. Is it common to address one another as captain?
    [ 2015.08.08 00:37:17 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote returns to her chair as he sits. "
[ 2015.08.08 00:37:51 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I find most Capsuleers loyal to greater Amarria, that is the Empire and the Kingdom and the Mandate, still follow the usual norms.
[ 2015.08.08 00:38:24 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Although if you join the Society, I will tend the relaxed in more private settings about such things with my fellow capsuleers.
[ 2015.08.08 00:39:38 ] Ahman Nahrid > Then perhaps, until such time, captain shall suffice.
[ 2015.08.08 00:41:02 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods. "Captain Nahrid, your application shows an honorable pre-capsuleer career, what brings you here to the point where you are applying to the Society?" She pauses
[ 2015.08.08 00:41:08 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Put simply, why are you interested in us?"
[ 2015.08.08 00:41:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles and pours two glasses of wine.
[ 2015.08.08 00:42:49 ] Ahman Nahrid > I am new to this existence as Immortal, and it comes with experiences and trials that those that are not cannot truly relate to. It has bestowed upon me potential and burdens unimaginable before, and I seek to understand their full meaning by learning
[ 2015.08.08 00:43:39 ] Ahman Nahrid > from those who came before. Aside from these considerations, I have found a renewed interest in Scripture since my first .. transmission.
[ 2015.08.08 00:44:37 ] Ahman Nahrid > In brief, when I made the first transition to a clone body, I ... saw something I have no explanation for thus far.
    [ 2015.08.08 00:45:11 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote tilts her head slightly.
[ 2015.08.08 00:45:23 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > What do you mean? She slides over a glass to Ahman.
[ 2015.08.08 00:47:27 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote nods his head in thanks and accepts the glass. "It was... a vision.. a sensation. A glimpse at what lies beyond mortal existence, perhaps. Overall, this technology is a relatively new development, and its full implications are yet being uncovered
[ 2015.08.08 00:48:09 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says softly "That is true. Capsuleers among the Faithful can't even agree if have souls"
    [ 2015.08.08 00:48:24 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > *clones have souls
[ 2015.08.08 00:48:54 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote takes a sip of her wine "For example Lieutenant Kerner and Captain Shutaq of PIE have diamertically opposed views"
[ 2015.08.08 00:49:06 ] Ahman Nahrid > Perhaps it is not so binary a thing. To posses or not. We are more and yet we are less than our mortal kin.
    [ 2015.08.08 00:49:40 ] Ahman Nahrid > I am no scholar, however. I am but a soldier.
[ 2015.08.08 00:50:28 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emotes takes a sip of the wine, though it is clear he has develloped no palate to truly appreciate it.
[ 2015.08.08 00:50:46 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Then perhaps I now understand why a contemplative Order of monks or cyberknights would not be perhaps more conducive to you., which I was mulling. We are faithful and stand for the faith, but in I hope an active sense.
[ 2015.08.08 00:50:58 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Only director Mithra is ... an ivory tower type.
[ 2015.08.08 00:51:50 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Still. why us? Why not go to a militant order of monks? We do primarily agennt or industry work with combat throne in as the need arises.
    [ 2015.08.08 00:53:49 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emotes takes a long, thoughtful moment to consider
[ 2015.08.08 00:55:29 ] Ahman Nahrid > There are a number of capsuleer organisations who proclaim themselves as warriors of the empire and the faith, yet whose modus operandi can be summarized as broadcasting "Amarr Victor" across all channels and throwing themselves blindly against whatever
[ 2015.08.08 00:55:51 ] Ahman Nahrid > enemy they perceive at the time. This has not proven an effective long-term strategy.
    [ 2015.08.08 00:56:33 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly listening.
[ 2015.08.08 00:57:42 ] Ahman Nahrid > The Reclaiming is not a matter of destroying all others. It is a great undertaking of unity. Those who are destroyed cannot come to His light. Rather, I have come to believe that only be proving superiority in all things shall we draw those yet outside
    [ 2015.08.08 00:57:51 ] Ahman Nahrid > His light into the empire.
[ 2015.08.08 00:58:25 ] Ahman Nahrid > Superiority in all forms, whether it be war, economics, art, or others still
    [ 2015.08.08 00:59:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles slightly, then nods.
[ 2015.08.08 00:59:21 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Tell me what do you think of Essence of the Faith is, then?"
[ 2015.08.08 01:00:20 ] Ahman Nahrid > It is my belief that the essence of our faith is purpose, within hierarchy, subject to legitimate authority.
[ 2015.08.08 01:01:38 ] Ahman Nahrid > Purpose sets us apart from the Gallente and Minmatar. They adhere to a false idiology of freedom, collectively. Yet freedom from what, exactly?
    [ 2015.08.08 01:02:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods every so slightly "Something I ask myself"
[ 2015.08.08 01:03:13 ] Ahman Nahrid > Freedom is a relative thing. Make a prison large enough, and one will believe himself free. But he remains free only within the confines so set.
[ 2015.08.08 01:04:18 ] Ahman Nahrid > Many struggle with this. Yet I choose to accept it. I submit to His will, and thus I gain a purpose.
[ 2015.08.08 01:05:09 ] Ahman Nahrid > If the Amarr are the heralds of God, then the Khanid are the blades. I believe that all have a role to play within His design.
[ 2015.08.08 01:05:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Yes, we all have our calling, or Vocation"
[ 2015.08.08 01:06:06 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Yours is that of a soldier? How did you come to be a capsuleer?"
[ 2015.08.08 01:08:14 ] Ahman Nahrid > I believe it so. Though that does not mean it truly is so. Time will tell.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:08:24 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods.
[ 2015.08.08 01:09:04 ] Ahman Nahrid > In brief, I was found to be compatible and offered sponsorship to the Royal Capsuleer Project.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:09:17 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods. "Alright."
[ 2015.08.08 01:10:10 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > One thing i am curious about.. given your Kingdom origins, do you feel it more important to be born of Amarr blood or to live a righteous life in fear of god?"
    [ 2015.08.08 01:11:13 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote considers the question, for a long moment again.
[ 2015.08.08 01:11:36 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote takes a pasties and munches on it, showing Ahman she is in no great rush.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:11:44 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > ((gack, Pastries))
    [ 2015.08.08 01:11:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > ((not pasties!))
[ 2015.08.08 01:13:00 ] Ahman Nahrid > We are all His children. Many have been lead astray or wandered. The Amarr were the first chosen to begin the reclaiming, but the reclaiming shall only finish when all peoples are unified once again.
[ 2015.08.08 01:14:12 ] Ahman Nahrid > Those who earnestly wish to return to His empire should be welcomed. Those who threaten His empire must be destroyed. Not with spite or malice, but with precision.
[ 2015.08.08 01:14:39 ] Ahman Nahrid > There has been much blood spilled, and there shall be much blood spilled yet before the reclaiming is complete.
[ 2015.08.08 01:14:55 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Do you feel the only way to reclaim is through Blood?
[ 2015.08.08 01:15:09 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gazes levelly at Ahman, as she sips her wine.
[ 2015.08.08 01:16:56 ] Ahman Nahrid > No. War is but a tool. There are many others.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:17:13 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says lightly "Like what?"
[ 2015.08.08 01:17:56 ] Ahman Nahrid > Scripture and its wisdom. Art. Economics. Governmental efficiency. Science. Morality.
[ 2015.08.08 01:18:35 ] Ahman Nahrid > Proving oneself a superior warrior to a miner has little meaning to the miner. Proving oneself a superior miner to the miner does.
[ 2015.08.08 01:19:13 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote circles back to the prior phrase "and of course , slavery." She glances at Ahman "Something I know the Kingdom and the Empire have not always seen eye to eye on"
[ 2015.08.08 01:19:35 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "What is your view of the purpose of slavery, today?
[ 2015.08.08 01:20:16 ] Ahman Nahrid > Too deeply relied on to abolish altogether, yet subject to corruption from its intended purpose as well.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:21:14 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote sips her wine.
[ 2015.08.08 01:21:25 ] Ahman Nahrid > Again, I am not a scholar. Yet I believe that slavery is intended to strip false notions and preconceptions, and purify a slave that they might truly understand and learn to value the meaning of service and the purpose it grants.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:21:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods, a faint smile of approval.
[ 2015.08.08 01:21:58 ] Ahman Nahrid > Those who are truly faithful would not care whether they are slaves or free men. They care only how they might serve Him.
[ 2015.08.08 01:22:23 ] Ahman Nahrid > Or rather, their master, who in term serves a master, and so forth to God.
[ 2015.08.08 01:22:52 ] Ahman Nahrid > Or so it is intended. It would be hubris to say we are not prone to corruption ourselves, from time to time.
[ 2015.08.08 01:23:08 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Quote so. What are your thoughts on how slaves are to be handled and trained, both spiritually and for secular matters?"
[ 2015.08.08 01:24:35 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote takes a sip of from his glass, considering the question carefully
    [ 2015.08.08 01:26:52 ] Ahman Nahrid > It is a difficult question.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:27:22 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says non-committaly "mMm" She sips her wine.
[ 2015.08.08 01:28:42 ] Ahman Nahrid > I do not believe that forcing an individual into the greater empire and service to be productive. It is service compelled by the threat of punishment, rather than genuine appreciation.
[ 2015.08.08 01:29:39 ] Ahman Nahrid > Rather, I would encourage slaves to see the merit of service for its own sake. In this, I draw parallels of military service. I depend on others to prosper and succeed, as they depend on me.
[ 2015.08.08 01:29:52 ] Ahman Nahrid > There is no place for selfishness or ambitions outside of what is expected of me.
[ 2015.08.08 01:29:53 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Well, sometimes force is necessary for a recaltritant slave yes?
[ 2015.08.08 01:32:10 ] Ahman Nahrid > Yes. Rebellion or wilful ignorance cannot be tolerated.
[ 2015.08.08 01:32:31 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "In such a case, what do you think should be done?"
[ 2015.08.08 01:35:43 ] Ahman Nahrid > Punishment relative to the infraction and the scope of its consequence.
[ 2015.08.08 01:36:57 ] Ahman Nahrid > A slave that takes what is not his to take shall have his own granted comforts reduced. A slave that endangers the ship as a whole shall be removed from the ship. Via airlock.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:37:14 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly. "Proportionate, then"
    [ 2015.08.08 01:37:23 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Fair enough."
[ 2015.08.08 01:37:31 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Do you have any questions of me Captain Nahrid?"
[ 2015.08.08 01:37:52 ] Ahman Nahrid > Stern but fair treatment. They are as children.
[ 2015.08.08 01:38:19 ] Ahman Nahrid > One, perhaps. Where do you concentrate your operations, at this time?
[ 2015.08.08 01:38:58 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "We are presently split due to the eventsin the Cluster of late."
[ 2015.08.08 01:39:22 ] Ahman Nahrid > I see. It is merely a matter of logistics. I shall go where I am needed.
[ 2015.08.08 01:39:22 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Our primary base remains Nayheen which is the focus of our agent work and industry."
[ 2015.08.08 01:39:43 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Lord Raholan is looking into the Drifter threat, which so far has been concentrated in the Throne Worlds"
[ 2015.08.08 01:40:00 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "As that is lose to nahyeen we have not needed t oopen a second office"
    [ 2015.08.08 01:40:35 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote nods.
[ 2015.08.08 01:40:50 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I also have some personnel in Providence. We had planned to move more but the Imperium never invaded. Nonethless we have an office and blue status and you are welcome to travel there for exploration, missins and the like in theinteriim"
    [ 2015.08.08 01:40:58 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > We are permitted jump clones
[ 2015.08.08 01:41:28 ] Ahman Nahrid > Do you believe the Imperium to be a credible threat, at this time?
[ 2015.08.08 01:41:31 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I myself try to support the militia by hauling. I am in Mehatoor at present as SFRIM helped with an operation the past few days against the heretifc Naiplius.
[ 2015.08.08 01:41:55 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote pauses at the question "I truly don't know. But they are so large, it would be foolish to ignore it"
    [ 2015.08.08 01:42:44 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emote nods.
[ 2015.08.08 01:42:54 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > We may open a third office in Mehatoor and close the Myyeraoffice.
[ 2015.08.08 01:43:13 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I just took the CEOship recently so I am reorganizing hangars and roles.
[ 2015.08.08 01:43:53 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I hope to ensure that there are ships for common ops if needed in each location, although as a pilot you should be self-sufficient.
[ 2015.08.08 01:44:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Lord Kailethre will have access to the Security officer's hangar with Cruiser plus ships.
[ 2015.08.08 01:45:00 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > He is helping me plan Corporation Fits and strategy in that regard.
[ 2015.08.08 01:45:21 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Lord Raholan runs our industry, along with Brither Reinheart. if you want them to research or run a job in the corp POS, you need only ask
[ 2015.08.08 01:45:49 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote grimaces "As Director Mithra is on leave, I am also diplomat."
[ 2015.08.08 01:46:21 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I enjoyed meeting you. I would like to invite you to the Society if you still wish to join.
[ 2015.08.08 01:46:41 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gives Ahman an appraising glance "I think our commonalities exceed our differences at present"
[ 2015.08.08 01:49:11 ] Ahman Nahrid > I gladly accept your invitation. I shall make the necessary arrangements and contact you within the next days for more practical details.
[ 2015.08.08 01:49:46 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > 'Wonderful. Why don't we chat about those as I walk you back to your ship"
    [ 2015.08.08 01:50:08 ] Ahman Nahrid > /emotes nods and stands, making to leave.
    [ 2015.08.08 01:50:11 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote rises with a smile and walks out with Ahman.
