[ 2014.09.06 03:14:25 ] EVE System > Channel MOTD: Private SFRIM IC channel.  Unwelcome rp will be deemed to not have happened and those responsible will be kicked.Moderators:  Nicoletta Mithra  Lunarisse Aspenstar Location: SFRIM Offices. Bar.  Nahyeen VII, Zoar & Sons FactorySetting:  The main gathering area of the Society, the bar sports plush leather couches centered around a long coffee table. Low music plays songs from around the galaxy. The soft blue lighting is easy on the eyes, but still light enough to see what you're doing and where you're going. The shelves are filled haphazardly with bottles of spirits, clearly labeled. Luna's name is by the spiced wine and other vintages from around New Eden, with a few religious texts leaning against the bottles. The whiskeys shelf label has been taped over by Freya and Lucas, each bidding for ownership. There is a shelf with rum on it, with a fresh label reading 'Alexi'. Above that, is Nicoletta's shelf, with juice mixes and exotic wine, with a few bottles of absinthe here and there. Cocktail mixers and a jar of little umbrellas wrapped with a piece of tape reading 'Gottin's Dont Touch!!' is on her shelf. There is a shelf with a pair of bottles, one full of Absynth and the other full of Chocolate Irish Cream and etched "Lady Anise Tig'res of the Khanid Kingdom."  There are a few other shelves that hold overflow for now, waiting for new corp members to claim them.Exits:Gottin's Lamp - Entry FoyerGottin's Lamp - Kitchen

    [ 2014.09.06 05:12:35 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles warmly from behind her mug.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:12:43 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Hello Eternal"
[ 2014.09.06 05:13:24 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote smiles, looking for a nearby chair to talk with her from. "You may call me Ian, Luna."
    [ 2014.09.06 05:14:50 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Well Ian I appreciate your comin gin.
[ 2014.09.06 05:15:05 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Your assistance in recent months hasn't been unnoticed.
[ 2014.09.06 05:15:26 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I know.. I know you had your daughter to watch afyer.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:15:29 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles
[ 2014.09.06 05:16:28 ] Eternal Guardian > I felt it was perhaps time for me to move on once again.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:16:55 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote frowns slightly.
[ 2014.09.06 05:17:25 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I asked you to come because I would like to extend an invitation for to you to stay with us?
[ 2014.09.06 05:18:05 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote smiles to himself, "Yes, a little bird had mentioned something of your intentions to me.
[ 2014.09.06 05:18:31 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I mean.. I still need to do an entrance interview.  But knowing you as I do, i think you'd be fine.
[ 2014.09.06 05:19:43 ] Eternal Guardian > after all you and maria have done ofr us, you're practically family.
[ 2014.09.06 05:20:06 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods and sips her cocoa, warming her hands.
[ 2014.09.06 05:21:35 ] Eternal Guardian > And I trust things would perhaps continue as they are.  I am unaware of many, or really any very vocal enemies of ours.
[ 2014.09.06 05:22:04 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Well... so far that is the case. I confess, Lucas and I did put ourselves out a little more into the forefront than perhaps we planned in recent efforts against the heretic Nauplius.
[ 2014.09.06 05:24:27 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote sighs to himself, "if anything does come of it, It will at least give me something to do."
    [ 2014.09.06 05:26:14 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods.
[ 2014.09.06 05:26:25 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Well.. I only have four questions and I think you've answered the first.
[ 2014.09.06 05:26:30 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Why you are interested in SFRIM
    [ 2014.09.06 05:26:34 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles lightly.
[ 2014.09.06 05:27:56 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Is there anything else you'd like to add?
[ 2014.09.06 05:28:07 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote smirks, and takes on a very formal demeanor, "Well, Cpt. Aspenstar, I have family in the corporation already, and I feel that my specific skillset falls within the perview of your mission statement and goals."
    [ 2014.09.06 05:29:22 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly.
[ 2014.09.06 05:31:21 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Our second question is one such as you should be readily able to asnwer.
[ 2014.09.06 05:31:28 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > What is the essence of the Amarr Faith?
    [ 2014.09.06 05:32:34 ] Eternal Guardian > So small a question for such a large answer...
[ 2014.09.06 05:35:57 ] Eternal Guardian > The faith is the way to salvation. the road which all must walk to reach their destiny. the answer to all questions. It is a code, but also an invitation.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:38:26 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote tilts her head curiously.
[ 2014.09.06 05:40:59 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote continues, "not merely a faith as the other religions of the cluster practice, ours is a sense of being, a sense of place.
[ 2014.09.06 05:41:45 ] Eternal Guardian > in it's understanding, acceptance, and admittedly submission we find our truest happiness as God has willed it.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:44:27 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote has finished.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:46:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:46:25 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Very profound thoughts.  Thank you.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:46:27 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles.
    [ 2014.09.06 05:47:32 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Now for our third questio.
[ 2014.09.06 05:47:45 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote frowns "I never word this correctly..." and pulls out her datapad.
[ 2014.09.06 05:49:18 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote picks up a nearby glass and looks around the bar for something to put in it.
[ 2014.09.06 05:50:33 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote reads ""Is it more important to be born of Amarr blood or to live a righteous life in fear of god?"
[ 2014.09.06 05:52:44 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote places her datapad down and looks pensive while she waits for EG's answer, as if she is also thinking of something else and shaking herself angrily, sips her cocoa as if trying to push it out of her head.
[ 2014.09.06 05:53:24 ] Eternal Guardian > those who are born of Amarr blood are destined for glory. they need not do anything but avoid temptation. hence the mantle of importance falls upon those not of our homeworld. theirs is the real struggle, theirs is the fate which can be changed.
[ 2014.09.06 05:54:02 ] Eternal Guardian > it is they whom i guard, in hopes of guiding them back to the path.
[ 2014.09.06 05:55:33 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote pours himself a glass of milk from behind the bar, taking a sip and studying Luna for her response, noting her irregular demeanor.
[ 2014.09.06 05:55:37 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods thoughtfully and says quietly "And how would you guide them? For example a Caldari man who was a capsuleer?"
    [ 2014.09.06 05:56:29 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Perhaps a Civre who seeks secular rewards?
    [ 2014.09.06 05:58:24 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote glances at EG.
[ 2014.09.06 05:58:52 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote puts a hand to his chin, "I would dote upon him such similar rewards as he seeks, but then as his beneficiary, direct him to charity. this way i might instill within him the greater gifts that come from giving rather than gaining."
[ 2014.09.06 05:59:55 ] Eternal Guardian > with this first revelation, perhaps his eyes would turn back to the path.
[ 2014.09.06 06:02:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote presses "And what if they are stubborn jackasses?
    [ 2014.09.06 06:06:17 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote looks sulkily at Eternal Guardian.
[ 2014.09.06 06:06:25 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote eyes her curiously, "even the most stubborn of boulders can be worn down by the notions of the sea, leaving a beach of willing, malleable sand. we are both capsuleers, his reform may take an eternity if need be."
[ 2014.09.06 06:06:53 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote visibly calms her self while sniffing her cocoa mug and nods.
[ 2014.09.06 06:07:19 ] Eternal Guardian > "I won't ask his name, but you can talk about it if need be."
    [ 2014.09.06 06:08:10 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote murmers "Thank you Guardian... I forgetself."
    [ 2014.09.06 06:08:15 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > *forget myself
[ 2014.09.06 06:08:38 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Let's focus on the matter at hand for now" *smiles lightly*
    [ 2014.09.06 06:09:29 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote nods, "As you wish."
    [ 2014.09.06 06:10:13 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > Our last question..
[ 2014.09.06 06:10:28 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > What is your view of slavery and the purpose of it?
[ 2014.09.06 06:12:38 ] Eternal Guardian > Slavery is a necessity, without it, our empire would not be able to remain the super power that it is. just as necessary as slavery is to our empire, so is the very practice of slavery to our slaves,
[ 2014.09.06 06:16:10 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says automatically "How so to our slaves?"
[ 2014.09.06 06:17:32 ] Eternal Guardian > It is the labor of the body which works to purify the soul. it is their greatest teacher, and their salvation. Such as the Amarrian has labored through the centuries against temptation and folley, now they labor to uphold that which we have gained so they themselves may find some part.
[ 2014.09.06 06:18:39 ] Eternal Guardian > Sadly, there are few who come to such revelations, but that is in the hands of their holders to foster such ideals.
[ 2014.09.06 06:19:56 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I see.  Do you think Slavery still has a roll with respect to persons found outside the Empire?
[ 2014.09.06 06:20:13 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says coldly, using my Civre example again.
[ 2014.09.06 06:21:04 ] Eternal Guardian > /emote tries not to smirk, "Ah, assuming he can be brought into slavery?"
    [ 2014.09.06 06:21:28 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote mutters "there is that."
    [ 2014.09.06 06:21:47 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Assume it is so."
[ 2014.09.06 06:22:06 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote sips her cocoa and curls further into her blanket.
[ 2014.09.06 06:23:10 ] Eternal Guardian > Assuming he can be brought into the fold as such, i would imagine that would instantly quell his aspirations. with the world beyond one's master's home no longer relevant, one's mind should turn inward to then seek all one has left to gain.
    [ 2014.09.06 06:23:16 ] Eternal Guardian > internal prizes.
[ 2014.09.06 06:24:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly with a blank look and then refocuses "Thank you as always for your well thought out answers"
    [ 2014.09.06 06:24:12 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles.
[ 2014.09.06 06:24:32 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Well we'd like to have you. I think given your reputation I don't need to wait to talk with Director Mithra."
[ 2014.09.06 06:24:46 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Are you able to receive your new security codes now?"
[ 2014.09.06 06:25:18 ] Eternal Guardian > Indeed I am." he replies, drawing a datapad from his robes.

    To: Lunarisse Aspenstar,

    Well, thanks!

Still, the idea is that the third question reveals that the aspirant regards righteous action to be more important than birth (question to ask in this case: "What means avoiding temptation?" - Avoiding temptation obviously means keeping to the righteous course of action) while the third question should make clear that the aspirant thinks that slaves shouldn't be mistreated and the goal is to eventually set them free.

I don't find these answers in the interview explicitly. You want to bring that up with EG? or do you want me to ?

It feels more like you went soft of him because you had a bad day
