Location: SFRIM Offices. Chaoel. Nahyeen VII, Zoar & Sons Factory.Setting: The chapel is surprisingly modest, measured by the Amarrian norm. Still it is unmistakably standing in the architectural tradition of the Empire: The high rising, arched walls - which are just like the floor covered by light, gold-brown wood that fills the room with the resinous smell of pines, that intermingles with that of frankincense - meet high above the heads of visitors, pointing upwards. The only windows are at the altar site, painted artfully with scenes from Chapter I of the Epitoth in the Book of Scriptures .At the entrance small-ish side-rooms for liturgical utensils and to change into liturgical cloth for the priest and serve to delineate the entrance area against the more sacred space of the chapel.(( Here's a floorplan of the "St. Henry’s Ecumenical Art Chapel" the description is based on. ))

[ 2015.10.13 02:46:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote enters. She studies the reaction of the convert and erstwhile convert.
[ 2015.10.13 02:47:34 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote 's eyes go over the details of the painted scenes, and bright recognition crosses over her face, which is followed by happy delight, which is then covered with professional calm. She turns her attention back to Luna.
[ 2015.10.13 02:47:42 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote keeps his usual steady mask on, politeness subverting other possible expressions. "Very nice place."
[ 2015.10.13 02:48:22 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gestures to a side room which has a table and some chairs. "Let's have a seat. it's a genuine pleasure to meet you botj"
[ 2015.10.13 02:49:26 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote takes a seat at the edge of the table. There is already some water and snacks on it.
[ 2015.10.13 02:49:42 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote pulls his chair out for his wife. Aw.
[ 2015.10.13 02:50:10 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote beams at Charles as she takes the offered seat.
[ 2015.10.13 02:51:06 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I appreciate your interest in the Society. i confess i came as a complete surprise to me"
[ 2015.10.13 02:51:25 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote sets himself down, patting his lap of any hampering dust. There's none, but it's just habit. "We've been known to be full of surprises."
[ 2015.10.13 02:51:49 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote shrugs in gennuine embarassment. "Ssorry... It was kind of hard to talk about when I wass sstill active in the capsuleer sscene."
[ 2015.10.13 02:52:28 ] Alabath Schmidt > "Hi, Mrs. Daphiti, I know I'm a member of a corp of an enemy faction, but do you have a minute to ssit down and talk with me about God, the Scriptures, and your wonderful corp? Promise I don't got any devious intentionss."
    [ 2015.10.13 02:52:39 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote shakes her head.
    [ 2015.10.13 02:52:40 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smirks.
[ 2015.10.13 02:53:43 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I am certain you have no reason other than the Faith, God and an intent to be loyal to the Empire for joining connect?
    [ 2015.10.13 02:53:49 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > *correct
[ 2015.10.13 02:53:59 ] Alabath Schmidt > I actually sspoke with Aldy right after I got out of Gradient, about Morwen's health. You'd have thought I was Nauplius himself, the way he trated me.
    [ 2015.10.13 02:53:59 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles brightly.
    [ 2015.10.13 02:54:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smile fades slightly.
[ 2015.10.13 02:54:48 ] Alabath Schmidt > That would be a lie, Mrs. Daphiti, and you know it. Charless and I wouldn't apply if we had our own reassons.
    [ 2015.10.13 02:54:57 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote frowns.
[ 2015.10.13 02:55:03 ] Alabath Schmidt > Thinking we could learn and grow from the process, if nothing elsse.
    [ 2015.10.13 02:55:17 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "So what are your reasons?"
[ 2015.10.13 02:56:23 ] Alabath Schmidt > Well, that, and ssome of SFRIM's job opportunities seem like thingss we're really interested in. We like PFR's ideology and plans, generally, but... It'ss lacking in meaningfulness, you know? And it doessn't take advantage of all of our strengths.
    [ 2015.10.13 02:56:36 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods.
[ 2015.10.13 02:56:50 ] Alabath Schmidt > We don't exactly feel happy unless we're ussing all of our sskills to the best of our abilitiess, and we are very skilled people.
[ 2015.10.13 02:57:09 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > I understand from your application that you are in the process of obtaining Empire citizenship?
    [ 2015.10.13 02:57:14 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote looks at Alabath.
[ 2015.10.13 02:57:59 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote sighs. "A long, tedious process sso far, ma'am. Mother Amalath... We had a talk a few monthss ago, and she had decided I knew everything she knew about the Faith, A great compliment, I thought at the time."
    [ 2015.10.13 02:58:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Wonderful, and that is a credit to you, i think."
    [ 2015.10.13 02:58:28 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote smiles as his wife speaks.
[ 2015.10.13 02:58:45 ] Alabath Schmidt > But apparently, as a requirement for her signature, I have to attend her "How to be an Amarr citizen" classes. Which is fine, but she'ss teaching the basics. The very, very basicss. And it's full of people who... Ah.
[ 2015.10.13 02:58:54 ] Alabath Schmidt > I doubt their commitment and their interest goess beyond themselves personally.
[ 2015.10.13 02:59:49 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote takes a platter of cookies and puts it in her lap. She tosses two in and chews.
[ 2015.10.13 02:59:51 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods. "Well. She is certainly a tough judge and they still need to satisfy the appropriate authorities." She pauses, "still, focusing on you" -c
[ 2015.10.13 03:00:10 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "In fact if she vetted you in that regard, I have little concern about your answers to my usual concerns. Still, I'd like to ask them of you both if that is alright with you?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:01:18 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Simply because,. well this sort of candidate such as you is unique"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:01:23 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "To the Societty so far."
    [ 2015.10.13 03:01:28 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote swallows. "Sure, Mrs. Daphiti!"
[ 2015.10.13 03:01:38 ] Alabath Schmidt > Nah, I'm not insulted. I like interviewss. Sometimess I do them just for fun.
[ 2015.10.13 03:01:44 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Before I go there.." She glances at Charles.
[ 2015.10.13 03:01:53 ] Alabath Schmidt > You can learn a lot about yourself just by answering questionss.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:02:01 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Hm?
    [ 2015.10.13 03:02:04 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "You said you are a potential convert?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:02:27 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Potential. The outlook is highly likely.
[ 2015.10.13 03:02:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Who is supervising your religious instruction?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:03:25 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Alabath, Lord Kailethre. Sometimes Bel throws me these wisdom tidbits, but she doesn't really talk to me about it.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:03:40 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I see." She purses her lips slightly.
[ 2015.10.13 03:03:54 ] Alabath Schmidt > Bel getss her peacock feathers ruffled whenever he crackss offcolor jokess.
[ 2015.10.13 03:04:09 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I see." She pauses "Would you have any objection if I, or your wife, introduced you to Holy Mother Amalath for instruction?"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:04:24 ] Alabath Schmidt > Ssee, I ssaid the ssame thing!
[ 2015.10.13 03:04:50 ] Alabath Schmidt > Sshe's not sso bad, cheri. She'ss not like the last one. People don't think tubechildss don't have ssouls anymore.
[ 2015.10.13 03:05:04 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gives Charles a smile and gaze that strongly suggests "No objection" is the right answer.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:05:24 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > I don't mind.
[ 2015.10.13 03:05:45 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > I think she may. When I was safeguarding Bel, part of the security screening I had at the time offended her greatly.
[ 2015.10.13 03:05:59 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gives an approving nod. "i think the couple that prays together, stays together."
[ 2015.10.13 03:06:42 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote sets the empty platter back where it belongs. She takes a tray of cupcakes and sets it on her lap. "Agreed."
    [ 2015.10.13 03:06:56 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote nods. Preys together, indeed.
[ 2015.10.13 03:07:33 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "As for the Society, we are more a fellowship, than a formal heirarchical corporation. You would be free, for the most part, to pursue your independant activities, as long as they are in accord with the Faith and our mission."
[ 2015.10.13 03:08:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I would ask only that as long as you choose to remain you follow your current efforts for citizenship or conversion"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:08:50 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > I see.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:08:53 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Works for me. Al?
[ 2015.10.13 03:08:58 ] Alabath Schmidt > Wouldn't turn away from it even if you rejected me.
[ 2015.10.13 03:09:40 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote gives an approving nod. "Alright, I will ask my usual four questions to you both, since you are husband and wife"
[ 2015.10.13 03:10:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I think you answered the first in your mail. Why you are interested in the Society so let's just skip that"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:10:24 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles brightly
[ 2015.10.13 03:10:40 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "My second question is 'what is the essence of the Amarr Faith toyou?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:11:10 ] Alabath Schmidt > That'ss funny, Mother Amalath assked me the same question.
[ 2015.10.13 03:11:27 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote takes a sip of water, and leans back in her chair, listening.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:11:54 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote defers to his wife.
[ 2015.10.13 03:13:26 ] Alabath Schmidt > That is an arrogant question, Mrs. Daphiti. There's libariess upon libariess of texts. People have dedicated their livess to the cause of knowing the essence, and there'ss still discourse over it.
[ 2015.10.13 03:14:10 ] Alabath Schmidt > I'm not sure there's one true way that we can all identify and agree on. Just different facetss that appeal specially to each individual, that are more relevant to each individual.
[ 2015.10.13 03:14:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote says lightly "it is an important one however, because we, the Society generally have a view conducive to our mission, as set forth in our FAQ"
[ 2015.10.13 03:15:19 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "consequently, I do ask every candidate for the Society this question. And it is important to know how someone views the Faith"
[ 2015.10.13 03:16:11 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote shrugs. "My point iss ssimply that I cannot sspeak the honest truth of the matter, because I do not believe there is one Truth, but many."
[ 2015.10.13 03:16:15 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "being instructed by the Holy Mother, i hope she conveyed some aspects of the essence."
[ 2015.10.13 03:16:29 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "What many truths do you see, then?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:17:00 ] Alabath Schmidt > When I ssaid that answer, Mrs. Daphiti, sshe accused me of reading her personal notess ahead of time.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:17:11 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote laughs.
[ 2015.10.13 03:17:27 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Well i am interested in your view. What it mean to you personally."
[ 2015.10.13 03:17:53 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Maybe it means different things to you, that is fine. But there is some part of the Faith that touched you.'
    [ 2015.10.13 03:17:57 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "That moved you to convert"
[ 2015.10.13 03:18:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "that is what I am seeking by my question"
[ 2015.10.13 03:18:49 ] Alabath Schmidt > The Faith is a moral compass for me. I'm not a very disciplined woman, Mrs. Daphiti. I suffer from the same faillings ass the rest of my race. I am passionate, and often shortsighted when my emotions are involved.
[ 2015.10.13 03:19:56 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly. She sips her water to ensure that she does not interrupt Alabath or assume Alabath is finished.
[ 2015.10.13 03:19:58 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote puts her hand on Charles' leg. "I've made plenty of mistakes in my time while I was ssearching desperately for a guide. I took classes on philosophy. I read books written by long-forgotten great thinkers."
[ 2015.10.13 03:21:10 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote leans into her a bit, listening. He seems serene.
[ 2015.10.13 03:22:10 ] Alabath Schmidt > I found nothing that made sense of thingss. Sure, ideas, concepts, equations. Ways of thought. Things that appealled to the logic, wondering about cause and effect, intent. But nothing I could feel as much as I could think about.
[ 2015.10.13 03:22:38 ] Alabath Schmidt > But... In the Faith, I've found that. Something my heart beats with as my head thinkss it.
[ 2015.10.13 03:23:46 ] Alabath Schmidt > The essence of the Faith... The essence of the Faith is love, Mrs. Daphiti. Not the same love I have for my husband, but love nonetheless.
[ 2015.10.13 03:24:01 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote smiles slightly, a genuine one. "Thank you" She glances at Charles.
[ 2015.10.13 03:26:47 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Investigation, order, discipline, order, redemption, reclaimation. In that order.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:26:52 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > [[ Er ]]
    [ 2015.10.13 03:26:56 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > [[ Replace the first order with Piety ]]
[ 2015.10.13 03:27:50 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "interesting". She glances at the pair. "One question whose answer tends to distinguish those who fit into the Society with the those who don'tis the next one."
[ 2015.10.13 03:28:51 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote glances at Alabath "Did Holy Mother Alabath ever discuss with you the different between being true amarr and being one who truly lives the faith rightously and in accord with God's Scriptures?"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:29:12 ] Alabath Schmidt > No.
[ 2015.10.13 03:29:42 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Which do you think is more important, personally?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:30:19 ] Alabath Schmidt > I kind of have to believe that living righteously in the name of the Scriptures is more important, because otherwisse, I'm ssuper sscrewed.
[ 2015.10.13 03:30:43 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote flashes an amused look and giggles involuntarily at Alabath's bluntness.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:30:57 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote snorts.
[ 2015.10.13 03:31:04 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I suspect you are right" She looks at Charles "And you?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:31:30 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > I was going to say that, honestly.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:31:34 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Pretty close to word-for-word.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:31:47 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote stares intently at Charles. "Alright."
    [ 2015.10.13 03:32:33 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote doesn't seem too phased.
[ 2015.10.13 03:33:07 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "given your cultural backgrounds, do you have an issue with Slavery being used for theological purposes to reform and to reclaim? Not that its likely to be relevant to a non-Holder"
[ 2015.10.13 03:35:07 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote rolls her eyes. "I've seen what being a slave is in the Empire. It's not a terrible, awful fate. It some places, it's way more convenient than being free."
[ 2015.10.13 03:35:25 ] Alabath Schmidt > And it's certainly an improvement over the Federation wage slaves.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:35:43 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote nods slightly.
[ 2015.10.13 03:36:04 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Mr. Schmidt do you disagree with your wife?"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:36:23 ] Alabath Schmidt > I'm not a Federation loyalist. I'm not even a Federation Citizen. I didn't grow up with Federal ideals.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:36:30 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Nope.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:36:34 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > As in, I agree with her.
[ 2015.10.13 03:37:00 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote exhales. She looks a little relieved, like maybe this act of necessity might result in two genuine corp members.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:37:18 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Well.. I appreciate your candid response"
[ 2015.10.13 03:38:02 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I know the Society is always eager to get new members, especally those with your special and unique skill sets." She frowns.
[ 2015.10.13 03:38:22 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "given that you were with freeport, would you like to base in our Null base in Providence to start?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:38:22 ] Alabath Schmidt > I am a bit confused. Do you already know our skill sets?
[ 2015.10.13 03:38:52 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Ms. Boma has spoken highly of you."
[ 2015.10.13 03:39:29 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Would that be a satisfactory first assignment in terms of basing for you two?"
[ 2015.10.13 03:40:30 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote mmms thoughtfully. "We'll think about it and talk it over. I'm not sure we know everything we need to about SFRIM yet."
[ 2015.10.13 03:40:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Alright. Would you like to take a tour of our offices?"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:40:58 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "I can assign Ms. Runekin to show you x6"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:41:09 ] Alabath Schmidt > I would love that!
    [ 2015.10.13 03:41:15 ] Alabath Schmidt > How about you, Charless?
    [ 2015.10.13 03:41:20 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > That sounds fantastic.
[ 2015.10.13 03:41:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Alright. I will do that. In the meantime, the corporate invitations are outstanding. I for one am comfortable and you may join when you choose."
    [ 2015.10.13 03:41:53 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "if you choose."
    [ 2015.10.13 03:42:23 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote nods. "We're honored."
[ 2015.10.13 03:42:56 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote rises. "I will ensure that you are given temporary passcodes to our x6 offices as well so you may have a place to stay"
    [ 2015.10.13 03:43:21 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote smiles ever so brightly.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:43:22 ] Alabath Schmidt > Awesome. Thank you sso much!
[ 2015.10.13 03:44:00 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > "Have a Blesed Evening, and I hope to hear from you both at your earliest convenience"
[ 2015.10.13 03:44:23 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Oh, yes, very much so.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:44:28 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > We'll see you later.
[ 2015.10.13 03:44:33 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote sets her empty platter where it belongs. She stands up. "If you don't hear from us, you'll hear from Doctor Boma, believe you me. Woman's the biggest gossip I know."
    [ 2015.10.13 03:44:33 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote guides the pair out.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:44:48 ] Lunarisse Aspenstar > /emote chuckles as she hears Alabath's remark.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:44:58 ] Alabath Schmidt > /emote follows the woman out!
[ 2015.10.13 03:45:01 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > Huge mouth. Huge nose. Lots of talky.
    [ 2015.10.13 03:45:04 ] Charles Cambridge Schmidt > /emote heads on out.

To: Bel Boma, Alabath Schmidt, Charles Cambridge Schmidt, Rhoxy Runekin

    Dear Ms. Runekin,

I've been hard at work recruiting to replace Gottin and her crew after they left x6 and the Society.

I am please to introduce two experienced Null Sec pilots. They are still considering joining the Society, after favorable interviews.

Would you be kind enough to show them our offices and facilities in x6? Put your best foot forward.

Show them every wonderful thing you've been working on! Everything!

I want to have someone's socks knocked clear off their feet!

    Cordially and with God's Blessings,

    Direxctrix Lunarisse Aspenstar Daphiti

Are you free tonight or tomorrow night? The sooner, the better, in my opinion.

    Dear Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt,

    Thank you for your inquiries.

As our recruiter, ms. Boma, is currently on assignment on a corporate matter, I'd be pleased to interview you borh. Please let me know when you can meet me in our corporate offices in Nahyeen. if another location is better, please advise.

I would not worry about the fact that you are either in the process of converting or obtaining Amarr citizenship. We do have a position for possible converts and welcome them, as it is part of our mission to spread "The Good Word"

    Sincerely, and with God's Blessings,

    Directrix Lunarisse Aspenstar Daphiti

Our members tend to be very independent in space activities, with rp being more collaboratative!

With a caveat, since becoming CEO, I am trying to make sfrim a little more 'active' in space. We fought the Imperium in Burn Amarr, we fought the Drifters in Safizon and we also have long confronted Nauplius with his towers and other schemes, for example. We aren't purely indy/pve anymore although any pvp or other combat is tied to rp.

The main thing is to be able to pass the ic interview and some examples can be found:https://sfrim.forumotion.com/f8-in-game-report
